This is a made to order item and the photographs shown are examples of the way the finished pens will look. However, each piece of wood is unique and as such there will be differences with each finished product. The wood is hand selected and hand finished. This wood Slim Line Pen is a great pen for anyone. Select from several different exotic and domestic woods and 4 different hardware finishes. I make all pens myself. The pens are hand turned on the lathe in my workshop. The pens are finished smooth in a multi-step process and then sealed. I do my best to get them made and sent within a day or two, depending on the size of the order. All woods have their own unique characteristics so you will have a one of a kind pen! I have limited numbers of certain woods so please check with me if you want to order several pens. Make sure to let me know what number wood you like and what hardware color (pen clip, tip) you want. Hardware options include 24k gold, satin gold, chrome, and black chrome.  I keep a variety of woods on hand, so if you like this style of pen, but not this wood, or not this style, why not have one specially made just for you? All pens are refillable just by pulling the 2 pieces of wood apart. Refills are available at most retailers. Some of the woods have limited availability. The body of the pen/pencil is carefully turned on a lathe, The finishing sanding and shaping are done by hand. An application of hand rubbed shellac and wax is applied and buffed to achieve a beautiful gloss finish that will last the life of the pen/pencil. Goldtone or brushed steel metal fittings compliment the fine wood. Each pen/pencil has a nice heft to it, and is perfectly balanced in your hand.
The mechanism inside is a simple twist to open, twist to close. The ink glides onto the paper smoothly and evenly, making writing a pleasure . Since the refill is by Cross or Parker, replacements are readily available at any stationary store or department store.
