Description

This is hand-turned pen made from a block of green acrylic with black threading which nicely complements the black metal of this tactical self-defense pen.
Why have the same mass-produced glass breaker pen everybody else has?  This description comes from my hardware supplier:
"This Tactical pen in tactical black isn't just for writing! It is used by security guards, police, military, shoppers, joggers, and delivery workers! You can open boxes, etch on wood, metal, or glass. It has a ‘real’ glass breaker tip that can shatter a car window. This pen can also make you feel safer especially in areas where weapons are prohibited. When making a list of safety supplies, its best to start with a great Tactical Pen!"
This is a one-of-a-kind, beautiful pen and would make a perfect gift for yourself or someone special.
The acrylic on the pen is sanded to 6000 grit then finished with a sanding polish and finally coats of acrylic friction polish. The hardware is black.
It has a Parker style ink refill.  If you need to replace the refill, simply pull the two halves of the pen apart, unscrew the twist mechanism to get to the refill, and replace it.  Refills are available at any office supply store.
You are looking at a mini twist pen in gold hardware and Goncalo Alves wood.
This handmade pen
was turned from a block of Goncalo Alves.  After turning, I sanded the wood to 600 grit, then applied multiple layers of sanding polish and finally friction polish to a medium-high shine.  The pen was then assembled using gold hardware.
The pen uses a mini style refill and can be replaced by simply unscrewing the tip off, removing the refill and replacing it.  Refills are available at any office supply store.  The refills are a mini style, which can be cross-referenced to
Cross #5828-4 or Zebra #4.
Finished pen is 3 13/16 inches long.
