Description

This card shark inspired antique brass pen made with a piece of red and black (so fitting for a card pen) colored acrylic is an ideal gift for any playing card game lover and will quickly become their favorite pen.  It is well balanced for writing and the details put into the workings of it abound.
The pen cap features the symbols of the four suits as well as the iconic ace of spaces on the pocket clip. The center band features the suit symbols while the tip of the pen has a sculptured design. Includes a smooth writing Parker style refill, available at any office supply store.
The acrylic was sanded to a smooth finish then finished with several coats of friction polish to a medium-high shine.

These pens are handmade.  It takes hours of work to make each pen.  I am able to form this fine writing instrument through a painstaking process that involves several hours and stages in order to present a finely polished work of art. Each blank is measured and drilled before inserting a brass tube. They are then squared up on each end before being placed in my lathe for the shaping using various hand turning chisels. When the desired shape is achieved I then take them through a multi-stage sanding and finishing process with various grits of sanding and polishing to get it to a high gloss shine.

These pens were hand turned using handmade acrylic or Deer Antler.  No two pens will be exactly the same.  You'll have a one of kind pen.  One pen is white and blue swirl arylic.  The other is made from deer antler.

Finish:
The white and blue acrylic pen is wet sanded to a highly smooth finish, and then polished using an acrylic polish.  The pen has a high gloss shine and is both durable and elegant.  The Deer Antler pen has a sealant of Cyanoacrylate to provide a sealer and to give it a hard durability, then is polished and shined using a combination of EEE Ultra Shine and Shellawax.  Will give it a smooth glossy finish, and provide additional durability.
